LewesLive is being designed so future public submissions, local notices, transport boards, weather alerts, and event feeds can be handled with clear data boundaries.

Current preview position

• No user accounts are currently provided.
• No payment information is collected.
• No Google Maps content or derived map data is used.
• Analytics only loads after consent.

Future checks before launch

• Publish controller/contact details.
• Confirm lawful bases for submitted listings, notices, photos, and moderation records.
• Define retention periods for submissions, corrections, incidents, and audit logs.
• Document third-party processors for analytics, hosting, email, transport, weather, and social publishing.

Public notices and personal events

Births, deaths, marriages, birthdays, and community notices can involve personal data. These should only be published with a clear source, consent where needed, and a simple removal route.
